Confident Slavia Prague star Jakub Hromada have revealed he was gutted to draw Rangers in the Europa League because they wanted a more glamorous opponent.
The Ibrox side will travel to Czech Republic this week for the Last 16 first leg with Slavia, who knocked out Leicester City in the last round.
And although Slovakian star Hromada insists they were desperate for a more marquee opponent than Rangers in the draw, he insists there is no chance they will take Steven Gerrard's side lightly.
He said: "The guys in the dressing room wanted a big name in the draw. We wanted to play against a huge club like Manchester United, Arsenal or AC Milan.
"But we don't want to underestimate the quality of Rangers in any way. It's a very favourable draw and it gives us huge motivation to go through.
"For me personally, it's great to be at this level because I have suffered many injuries recently. I had a serious ankle operation and it was inconceivable for me that I would ever play against such an opponent at this stage of the Europa League.
"I was up against Jamie Vardy and James Maddison who is valued at £70 million, so it's not every day you get a chance to play against that quality.
"So for us to beat a team like Leicester with players like that was an incredible achievement for Czech football."
