Slavia Prague ultras in sick Glen Kamara banner display as Rangers star taunted with vile racist slur

A group of Slavia Prague fans unveiled a sick banner aimed at Glen Kamara amid accusations of racism against Ondrej Kudela.

The Rangers midfielder has accused the Czech of calling him a "f*****g monkey" during his side's Europa League defeat at Ibrox on Thursday.

Kudela was seen covering his mouth and speaking into Kamara's ear, with whatever was said provoking a furious reaction from the Rangers team.

Though the Slavia player denies having been racist the club and manager Steven Gerrard have made clear they stand by their player's version of events, with Kamara describing Kudela's defence as a "complete and utter lie".

On Friday night a group of Czech fans brought further shame as they unveiled a banner with a hugely offensive slur against the Rangers player.

Though Slavia insist Kudela did nothing wrong the club were quick to condemn the disgusting banner.

Chairman Jaroslav Tvrdik wrote on Twitter: "Feeling extremely ashamed by the content of the picture published by a group of radical fans.

"This is absolutely disgusting, embarrassing, racist. NO TO RACISM!"

A UEFA investigation has been opened into the events at Ibrox on Thursday night.

Kudela's alleged slur will come under the microscope, while Slavia claim they have filed a criminal complaint for an alleged assault on the player after the final whistle.
