Slavia Prague boss reveals his secret to beating Chelsea in the Europa League

Slavia Prague boss Jindrich Trpisovsky has revealed his secret to beating Chelsea in the Europa League this evening - by watching videos of them when the Blues have struggled.

The Czech Republic side will be looking to cause somewhat of an upset in their quarter-final tie by knocking out Maurizio Sarri's side, which would start with a victory at the Eden Arena Stadium later tonight.

Slavia reached this round with a thrilling 6-5 aggregate win over La Liga side Sevilla in the last 16 round, with the side winning 4-3 at home in the second leg.

But facing Chelsea is another matter altogether, with the Blues boasting the likes of Eden Hazard, Olivier Giroud and Jorginho in their ranks.

But Trpisovsky is confident his side can match a team like Chelsea, and while he is under no illusion as to what kind of match his side faces, he's prepared his team by watching games where the Blues haven't been at their best and has looked to Dynamo Kyiv in order to beat Sarri's side this evening.

He said: "It’s easier this time. The guys have looked at the football, they know Chelsea and know the players

"It’s much harder to try to find some mistakes or weak spots that we could use in order to get some advantage because they are a high quality.

"I also believe that Slavia is really strong and that they can face such a great team.

"We’ve watched different games, especially matches where the opponents managed to get more points or put them under pressure and played very well.

"We were choosing matches where Chelsea were not as strong as they usually were.

"We looked at Kyiv a lot and was a previous round and we know some of the players, so that was the biggest lead for us and advantage.

"It was good they played against Kyiv who we played too."
