Slaves announce new album Acts Of Fear and Love, share 'making of' video

Slaves have announced their third album Acts of Fear and Love, which is set for release on 17 August this year via Virgin EMI/AMF Records.

The English punk rock duo shared the news along with a tongue-in-cheek video starring guest producer Baby Bart Vincent, which you can watch now via The Independent.

The title comes from a memory of drummer Isaac Holman's college teacher who once told him: "There's no such thing as hate - just acts of fear and love."

Holman recalled the moment to bandmate Laurie Vincent who said: "That's it! That's the lyric!" And Isaac goes: 'Really?'"

See the tracklisting for the album, below:

1. The Lives They Wish They Had

2. Cut And Run

3. Bugs

4. Magnolia

5. Daddy

6. Chokehold

7. Photo Opportunity

8. Artificial Intelligence

9. Acts Of Fear And Love

Acts of Fear and Love will have "a more personal fear" and sees the band eschew their more traditional style, working with fashion and documentary photographer Juergen Teller to capture these latest, more candid shots.

To celebrate the announcement, Slaves will play four small independent music venues in the UK to their most dedicated fans on the 'I Would Drive 500 Miles and I would Drive 500 More and Then Drive 126 More Tour' - tickets are available for fans who pre-order the album.
