Slaughtered tech CEO shared picture of home he loved where 'sister found headless body'

A millionaire CEO shared a sweet picture of the home he loved where his sister reportedly found his headless body.

Fahim Saleh was found decapitated and dismembered in his New York City apartment, according to reports.

The 33-year-old tech boss shared an image of his Manhattan's Lower East Side apartment with the caption "my home" along with a heart emoji.

While the image showing the luxury apartment block was posted in December, many have now reacted with horror after Mr Saleh was found dead inside the same building he clearly loved.

CEO of Nigeria-based motorbike start-up Gokada, he is believed to be the victim of a 'professional killer', with his body found next to an electric saw.

The power tool was understood to still plugged in.

His sister had initially come across his body after going to check on him on Tuesday, according to reports.

Officers believe the killer - said to have worn a mask - was disturbed following the killing, though there was very little blood.

Mr Saleh is said to have last been seen alive in CCTV footage on Monday afternoon around 1.40pm - when it is believed he rode in his building's lift with his alleged killer.

Hours later,  his sister is believed to have arrived a his apartment to check on him before finding his torso in an area next to the living room.

His arms and legs below the knees were removed, and body parts were placed into plastic bags also inside the property, the newspaper said.

Other body parts were said to be stuffed into bags inside the apartment.

Police are yet to establish a motive for the grisly attack and New York Police Department said they are looking at how the attacker exited the apartment building.

On Twitter, his bike delivery start-up said Saleh's death was "sudden and tragic".
