Slated by Teri Terry - review

Teri Terry, Slated: 1/3 (Slated Trilogy)

Slated by Teri Terry is a fantastic dystopian(ish) book about a girl called Kyla. Kyla is slated, meaning her memory is completely wiped. She wakes up in a hospital, in London, not knowing who or where she is. The government claims that she was once a terrorist but she doesn't think it is the full story. Kyla is also different as in her dreams she is getting flashbacks of her old life. I found this EXTREMELY interesting as I loved reading Teri's writing about the settings of her dream.

The plot was fantastic – I loved the idea of getting to know this sweet, small and fragile character only to find out about her dark past. The characters were so lovable and friendly, especially Ben. He made the book even better that it already was. Teri perfected the romance in the book as there wasn't too much to make it a racy book but there were just enough cute scenes that finished off the book perfectly.

All in all, I found the book amazing and I couldn't put it down. It is a huge MUST read!!!
