After striking gold with the superb Mare Of Easttown, Sky's run of high-quality programming is about to continue with their new murder mystery, The White Lotus.
In terms of the plot, Mike White's (School Of Rock, Orange County) satirical series revolves around a series of narcissistic, highly-strung and self-involved vacationing guests and employees at an exclusive Hawaiian resort.
Over the course of a week, each character has a secret that's slowly revealed and with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in this picture-perfect guests, the hotel's cheerful staff and the idyllic locale itself.
However, there's a core mystery that's unveiled at the start that will keep audiences guessing until the end.
Essentially, it's rich people doing horrible things and delivering perfect one-liners at each other.
Since being released in the US, The White Lotus has really impressed the critics with a rating of 81% on Metacritic and 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.
With an ensemble cast including Murray Barlett (Looking), Connie Britton, (Nashville), Jennifer Coolidge (2 Broke Girls), Alexandra Daddario (True Detective) and Steve Zahn (Treme), this six-part series boasts one hell of a cast.

The first episode of The White Lotus airs at 9pm on Monday, 16 August on Sky Atlantic and it will also be available to watch on NOW.
