Sky TV unveils incredible new deal as rival Virgin Media offer runs out today

Sky and Virgin Media are going head to head to offer new subscribers amazing deals today.

Not only are the subscription TV firms both offering price cuts to packages, they're also throwing in free gifts to people signing up.

But you'll need to be quick, Virgin's offers come to an end today with its current deals expiring on March 27.

But if you manage to beat the deadline not only save £144 on the price of a package, but also get a free Amazon Echo and connected Ring doorbell thrown in.

Virgin's biggest discounts are currently on its Full House Sports Bundle.

With more than 240 other channels - including Sky Sports and BT Sport - with the deal on right now offers £12 off the regular price of £77 a month.

The discount lasts 12 months - meaning a total of £144 will be saved over the term of the contract.

And on top of that the Echo Dot smart speaker and Ring Doorbell are added in for free.

You also get access to Virgin's VIVID 200 broadband and free calls at the weekend.

If you don't fancy that, there are also deals with Sky .

Its TV, Sports and Cinema bundle is currently 35% off at £45 a month, down from £60, offering access to more than 300 channels including movies and Sky Sports.

This offer runs for 18-months and comes with a standard Sky Q box - capable of storing 500 hours of TV and recording three shows at once.

You can add unlimited broadband to this bundle for an extra £16 a month.

However, there is a £20 upfront fee - rising to £199 for those wanting the improved 2TB Q box.

The Sky Entertainment and broadband package is also discounted - at £33 a month rather than £40 - while if have Sky already there's a deal giving F1 fans access to every race this season for £10 a month rather than the standard £18.
