Sky TV boxes still stuck on wrong time after clocks went back

Sky+ boxes continue to display the wrong time more than 24 hours after the clocks went back.

The company has spent this morning apologising to customers on social media and has said they are working on the problem, which they expect to be fixed by Thursday this week.

It comes as the TV boxes in people's homes are still set to British Summer Time (BTS) despite having moved back an hour to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Sunday morning (October 31).

At 11.13am this morning (Monday, November 1), Sky addressed the issue, saying: "Some of our customers with Sky+ Boxes continue to see British Summer Time show on the Sky Guide menu.

"We're sorry about this and expect this to be fixed Thursday. Live TV, recordings and video on demand are working correctly."

Customers on Twitter have been discussing the situation, with one man saying: "Sky UK Hi, you do realise the clocks went back an hour Saturday night."

To which Sky replied: "Hello, some of our customers with Sky+ Boxes continue to see British Summer Time show on the Sky Guide menu. We're sorry about this and expect this to be fixed Thursday.

"Live TV, recordings and video on demand are working correctly. Thanks, Jason."
