Sky Sports will feature Leeds United marathon starting at 12 noon today

Leeds United and the rest of the Championship are not in action once again this weekend due to the coronavirus outbreak, which may leave fans in a bit of a rut.

Had it been business as usual, Marcelo Bielsa's side would have been continuing their push for promotion this weekend against relegation-threatened Stoke City, following on from matches against Luton Town and Blackburn.

Instead, a week without live football has felt far longer and it was announced this weekend that the suspension of football would extend until the end of April.

As a result, fans are having to prepare for an extended break without their fix of live football but Sky Sports are offering something different for Leeds supporters this weekend.

From 12:00 on Sunday, Sky Sports Football is having a Leeds United marathon with highlights of the season so far - broken down into 15 minute highlight packages of 24 matches.

The marathon of matches lasts a whopping six hours in total, providing Leeds fans with something to whet their appetite while they deal with the latest action enforced by the government due to the spread of the virus.

The action begins with highlights of the victory against Wigan near the start of the season, concluding with the victory over Huddersfield Town in the West Yorkshire derby.

At 7pm on Monday evening, Leeds will feature once again on a special addition of Sky Sports' Monday Night Football with Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.

The two-hour special programme will see the pair run the rule over Leeds' dramatic 4-3 victory over Liverpool in November 2000, where the Whites came back from 2-0 down to secure a win courtesy of Mark Viduka's four-goal haul.

One hour of the programme will orientate around that match, with the other hour dedicated to Manchester United's emphatic 6-1 triumph over Arsenal.
