Sky Sports pundit makes Nottingham Forest claim as he gives Reading prediction

Sky Sports Pundit and former Nottingham Forest player David Prutton believes Chris Hughton will turn the Reds around - but says it won't happen at Reading.

Forest travel to the Royals for the early kick-off on Saturday desperately hoping for a result that will ease their concerns as they languish at the wrong end of the Championship table.

Forest go into the game on the back of a decent goalless draw against promotion-chasing Watford which Hughton will hope will provide a solid foundation to build on ahead of the trip to Berkshire.

And while Prutton believes the Reds will get it right under the former Brighton boss, he does not anticipate it happening this weekend.

Predicting a 2-1 defeat, he said: "My admiration for Veljko Paunovic went up a lot in how cool he was after their draw with Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, as the Reading boss surely would have felt a lot more decisions should have gone their way.

"They do seem to be back on track, though.

"Things haven't quite got going for Nottingham Forest under Chris Hughton yet. It feels like he's still trying to get things sorted out. I feel the results will soon come, but not on Saturday."

What is your prediction for the game this weekend?

Will Forest finally get the win they are craving or will it end in more agony?
