Sky Sports pundit delivers his verdict on Charlton Athletic ahead of Doncaster play-off clash

Charlton Athletic will continue their terrific form against Doncaster at The Valley tonight (Friday) and reach the League One play-off final at Wembley.

That's the verdict of Sky Sports pundit David Prutton, who has given his view on the play-off semi-final second leg clash in south east London, with Charlton having a 2-1 advantage from the first leg at the Keepmoat Stadium.

And Prutton says that while Doncaster have a glimmer of hope after pulling a goal back in the first leg, he cannot see them beating the Addicks.

"I thought Charlton were really good in the first leg, they were very composed and controlled the game," he said, in his predictions feature for the Sky Sports website.

"There was a slight touch of fortune with both goals, but they seemed to be in control of the game.

"Matty Blair's goal does give Donny a glimmer of hope, but they just seemed to lack a bit of belief that they could actually get something from the game.

"I can see Charlton going through, especially given the form that they're in.

"They've won the last six at home and are unbeaten in their last 13 games. They're in terrific form, and I think Donny will find it tough."
