Sky Sports name studio guests for Man Utd vs Man City - and it could be awkward

Sky Sports are ready to pit Joe Hart and Roy Keane against each other during their coverage of Wednesday night's Manchester derby.

The punditry pair have been selected to sit in the studio as guests for Manchester United vs Manchester City .

Former City keeper Hart will undoubtedly be backing his former club to taste victory in the must win match with ex-United skipper Keane like to favour the men in red.

Both have Premier League winning pedigree, with Hart picking up winners medals in 2012 and 2014, while Keane lifted the famous trophy seven times - in 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003.

The fixture at Old Trafford could make or break City's hopes of winning back-to-back Premier League titles.

Pep Guardiola's men currently have their fate in their own hands as they sit a point behind table toppers Liverpool , with the fixture with United their game in hand.

The Red Devils also need to win the game if they are to keep their dream of finishing in the top four alive - after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side's hopes took a huge dent when they lost 4-0 to Everton on Sunday.

The clash will be on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League with the fun and games starting at 7pm, with kick off at 8pm.

But before the main event, Hart vs Keane is likely to be a must-watch - especially due to the duo's frosty history.

Ireland legend Keane twice hit out at ex-Burnley shot stopper Hart during his playing career.

In 2013, he called him "arrogant" after an England fixture.

"Joe Hart is arrogant and making far too many mistakes," Keane said.

"I’d have dropped him six months ago."

Wind back a further year and Keane produced another body blow on Hart - this time branding him "too cocky".

"There's a fine line between confident and cocky and I think he's been a little bit too cocky this year.

"He just relaxes a little bit and takes his eye off the ball.

"He needs a bit more competition around him."
