Sky Sports mix up Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford before Manchester United fixture

Manchester United are back in Premier League action this evening as they take on Sheffield United at Old Trafford.

With just two points separating the teams ahead of the game, it is a match that could be crucial in deciding the race for Champions League qualification at the end of the season.

United know that a win will take them to within two points of fourth-placed Chelsea ahead of their game against Manchester City on Thursday night.

And the game couldn’t have started better for United, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial combining to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men the lead in just the seventh minute.

Martial reacted brilliantly to turn Rashford’s low cross past stand in goalkeeper Simon Moore. The Frenchman then added a second shortly before half time, taking his own tally for the season to a personal best of 13.

Prior to the match, one United fan on social media noticed a mistake by broadcasters Sky Sports regarding both players involved in the opening goal.

In the channel’s team line-up graphics shown before kick-off, a picture of Martial appeared above Rashford’s name, while Rashford’s image was above Martial’s.

Prior to kick-off, both sets of players took the knee for 10 seconds in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
