Sky Sports make TV decision over final Liverpool and Everton Premier League games

The live match schedule for the final day of the Premier Leaguer season has been confirmed.

Liverpool are batting for the title alongside Manchester City going into the last round of fixtures.

The Reds will face Wolves at Anfield while City, who lead the table by a point, host Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa.

So, unsurprisingly, both games will be shown live on Sky Sports.

And it has now been confirmed that Sky Sports will be broadcasting a third match live on Sunday.

That will be Brentford v Leeds United, which has ramifications at the bottom of the table.

Leeds currently occupy the final relegation place despite being level on points with Burnley, who have a significantly better goal difference.

All 10 remaining Premier League fixtures will kick-off at 4pm on Saturday, including Everton's trip to Arsenal.

Everton have little to play for now after winning 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace on Thursday to secure their survival. Arsenal, however, have to win to stand any chance of beating neighbours Tottenham Hotspur to fourth spot.

But only the three matches listed earlier - Brentford v Leeds United, Liverpool v Wolves, Manchester City v Aston Villa - will be shown live in the UK.

It is not the first time that Liverpool have been involved in a title race that has gone to the last day of the campaign. Back in 2019, Liverpool beat Wolves at home but had to settle for second place after City won at Brighton.
