Sky Sports blunder leads to Danny Mills giving x-rated Manchester United verdict on live TV

Danny Mills gave his honest assessment of Manchester United’s current problems on Sky Sports when he thought the cameras had stopped rolling.

Liverpool ’s 5-0 demolition of their North West rivals at Old Trafford has piled the pressure on United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Red Devils have now lost three of their last four league games, seeing them slip down to seventh in the table.

The former England full-back was asked to give his opinion on the issues at the club, with several managers being linked to replace Solskjaer, but viewers got a little bit more than they bargained for.

Presenter of ‘The Football Show’ Pete Graves appeared to thank his two guests for their contributions, believing Sky Sports had cut to an ad break.

“Basically, United are just s***”, Mills replied, prompting laughter from those also on air.

“But they are!” he reiterated, before the cameras finally cut away from the studio.

The blunder was filmed by one viewer who shared the short clip on Twitter, much to the delight of many football fans across social media.

Liverpool raced to a 4-0 lead by half-time against United on Sunday, before Mohamed Salah completed his hat-trick in the second-half.

However, latest reports from the Manchester Evening News suggest Solskjaer is expected to stay in the job, despite the Reds recording their largest ever victory over United.

The result compounded their rivals’ misery, having lost to Leicester and Aston Villa in recent weeks, while also drawing with Everton.

United have won just two of their last seven games across all competitions, with both being comeback victories in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s latest win extends the club’s unbeaten run to 23 games and just a point behind Chelsea in the Premier League table.
