Sky reveals big changes to its Sky Go and NowTV streaming services

Sky TV has made a big change to its Sky Go streaming service and it is very good news for customers.

Customers who have the Sky Go app , which lets you stream Sky TV on laptops, tablets and mobile phones, can now watch on six different devices after changes were made by the TV company.

The streaming service is available for Sky contract customers and allows them to watch Sky Sports, entertainment and children's channels on the move.

However, the service was limited to just two different devices until this week, meaning families had to pick and choose which devices could access the service.

Earlier this week Sky TV's on-demand service, no-contract streaming service NowTV announced it was increasing the number of devices you can watch from four to six and parent company Sky has now matched that with its own expansion.

Previously NowTV had allowed streaming on up to four devices and customers could add or remove one device each month. The new six-device limit also comes with three device swaps per calendar month.

Users on Sky and NowTV can only watch on two devices at the same time but can set up the service on up to six devices using the app.

It was spotted by users of deals website HotUKDeals this week and has proved a hit with Sky customers looking for more flexibility.
