Sky News' Jacquie Beltrao battling breast cancer again as she details 'living nightmare'

Sky News presenter Jacquie Beltrao has started battling breast cancer again.

The presenter, 55, detailed she and her family were "walking through a living nightmare" during the last four weeks of lockdown.

In a piece to camera, the sports broadcast star gave an impassioned speech about her diagnosis which she shared on Friday.

Jacquie has already started treatment after doctors discovered she had grade three breast cancer.

She told her fans: "For the last four weeks, me and my family have been walking through a living nightmare.

"But I am where I am. I've got a great medical team, friends, family."

In lockdown, the blonde bombshell discovered a tiny lump below her neck which turned out to be cancerous.

First Jacquie battled breast cancer in 2013.

But the former Olympic gymnast lamented it was "nastier" than the first time she had breast cancer.

Jacquie went public with the news because she didn't feel comfortable pretending everything had been normal on her return to work at Sky.

She said: "In lockdown I took my own advice did a check found a tiny little lump just here.

"I had it biopsied, turns out it's a grade three breast cancer once again. Much nastier than the first one I had.

"I'm sharing this because it felt weird going back to Sky and going on social media again pretending everything was shiny and fun when it wasn't."

Already Jacquie has overhauled her diet to be dairy free and she has been doing lots of meditation in lockdown.

The Sky star asked fans for their blessings and thoughts at the difficult time.

She added: "I've just got to get on with it. I am. I've done two chemos already. I've got 14 to go.

"I'm already on a dairy free diet. I am doing a lot of meditation. Everyone knows how much I love my yoga.

"If you have any spare blessings I will take them as well."
