Sky Mobile giving everyone free unlimited data this weekend

Sky Mobile is offering all existing customers a weekend of free unlimited mobile data to celebrate over one million people switching to the network.

Throughout Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June, customers on both SIM-Only and handset plans will be able to use as much data as they like without using a single MB of their data allowance.

Sophia Ahmad, director of Sky Mobile, said: "Attracting more than one million customers in less than two and a half years shows the power and appeal of our fair and flexible mobile network.

"Market firsts, such as data rollover with Roll, have helped us reach this milestone. We are delighted to be able to celebrate with our customers by offering a weekend of free data."

Sky Mobile piggybacks on the O2 network. It's a standalone service, meaning you don't have to be a Sky TV or broadband customer to sign up.

The service launched in 2016 - allowing customers to mix and match calls, texts and data allowances to create a 12-month package that suits their usage, with the ability to change their plan every month if they want to. Find out more about the service online, here.
