Sky Mobile down as phones left with no service and unable to call or text

Phone users with Sky Mobile have been left with no service after technical issues were confirmed.

More than 1,200 issues had been reported with Sky by 12.30pm according to DownDetector on Tuesday November 7.

DownDetector picks up issues with tech providers and allows users to report technical problems.

Customers have reported being unable to make or receive calls or send and receive texts from their mobile phones.

This does not affect users on Wi-Fi who are still able to access apps such as Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp

A Sky spokesperson said: ""Some Sky Mobile customers are experiencing intermittent issues with their service. We are investigating the issue and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing."

Sky said in a tweet at 12.37pm on Tuesday December 7: "We are aware that some Sky Mobile customers are experiencing intermittent issues with their service right now.

"We are investigating the issue and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing."
