'Sky is the limit' - Nottingham Forest fans make Brennan Johnson prediction

Nottingham Forest fans are sending Brennan Johnson plenty of praise after the 20-year-old scooped the EFL's young player of the month award for September.

The Reds have enjoyed an upward trend of form since Chris Hughton's departure from the City Ground, beating Huddersfield Town and Barnsley away whilst drawing with Millwall at the City Ground.

Johnson has proved to be a stand-out performer, however, with the 20-year-old scoring against Barnsley as well as contributing two assists from his five appearances during September.

The young Wales international described himself as being "proud to be given this award" and Reds fans are providing their own words of encouragement.

@warrenallsworth: Well done Brennan. Fully deserved!

@Aaron_02__: Starboy

@RobFTID62: Well deserved and hopefully many more to come that price tag goes up

@fonforest: Rocket man

@munsterforest: One of our own

@camclarky: Yes Brennan, keep up the good, hard work! Sky is the limit!

On the award, Johnson said: "It's a really good feeling and I'm proud to be given this award.

"It shows the hard work that all of the squad have been putting in and that's really helped me to perform well.

"I've been able to express myself and play a lot of football so far this season and I'm really enjoying it here.

"I want to continue helping the team with more goals and assists and now we're focussed on getting a positive result against Blackpool."
