Last night Sky Brown not only became Team GB’s youngest ever Olympian, she also became Team GB’s youngest ever medalist after winning bronze in the skateboarding.
After falling twice in her in opening two runs the 13-year-old needing something special in her final run and she delivered securing a 56.34 to make it onto the podium.
Brown, who was born in Japan, qualified for the heats top with a score of 57.4.

She said: "It’s unbelievable. It’s like a dream. I thought I was going to get it on the first or second run.
“I was a little nervous but I’m happy to be here and honestly I just wanted to land my trick. I didn’t really care what place I got.
“I really hope I inspire some girls. I feel like people think they are too young to take part, that they can’t do it.
"But if you believe in yourself, you can do anything. I believed in myself and I’m here."
Brown becomes the youngest medalist since 1923 when Margery Hinton won a medal at age 13 years and 43 days.
Japan took gold and silver thanks to Sakura Yosozumi and Kokona Hiraki.
Team GB’s other skateboarder – 15-year-old Bombette Martin sadly didn’t make the final.
She said: “It has been an amazing experience.
"I definitely want to repeat this in Paris - it would be cool to qualify for two Olympic Games by the time I am 18.
"The level has been insane - hopefully I can get to do that sometime in the future."
