Sky, BBC and Channel 4 shows being filmed in Liverpool

Liverpool is the second most filmed city in the UK outside of London - and it's easy to see why.

A major new film and TV studios opened in the city this week, taking it on step closer to its ambition of being the 'Hollywood of the North'.

The Depot is made up of two purpose-built, 20,000 sqft, sound-proofed film and TV production units which it is hoped will make Liverpool the complete package for film and TV producers - and pump millions of pounds into the local economy.
