Skin cancer clinic, courthouse and more among Newcastle COVID sites

MORE exposure sites have emerged overnight after the Hunter's COVID cases surged to a new record on Thursday.

Contact venues expanded overnight to include Laverty Pathology at East Maitland on Saturday 25 September from 10.30am to 11.30am, as well as IGA Liquor Gloucester on Thursday 23 September from 5pm to 5.15pm

Gloucester's Round About Inn was also an exposure site on Wednesday 22 September from 11.30am to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm as well as on Thursday 23 September from 11.30am to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Charlestown's Australian Skin Cancer Clinics joined the list for Monday 27 September from 9.30am to 10.15am.

All venues were deemed casual exposures, meaning anyone who attended must get tested and isolate until they get a negative result.

Health authorities also flagged several areas as potential risks of exposure, urging people who attended during windows to monitor for symptoms.

If they develop, those who attended the venues are urged to seek testing.

Singleton Toyota and Singleton Discount Drug Store were named potential risk centres hours after Newcastle Courthouse's court 2.1 made the list for between 8.30am and 4.30am on Friday September 24.

Singleton Toyota's risk windows were:

- Friday 24 September from 8am - 5pm

- Monday 27 September from 8am - 1.30pm

- Tuesday 28 September from 8am - 2pm

Singleton Discount Drug Store was a risk on:

- Friday 24 September from 5.10pm - 5.20pm
