Sketch comic Keegan-Michael Key lists his Griffith Park area home for sale

Feb. 09--Actor-comedian Keegan-Michael Key has put his home bordering Los Feliz and Griffith Park up for sale at $1.638 million.

The multilevel home, built in 1961 and boasting classic details, sits raised from the street and is entered through a gated courtyard.

The 2,600 square feet of living space, with vaulted and beamed ceilings and hardwood floors, contains a living room with a fireplace, a dining room and an open-plan kitchen. A large terrace balcony spans the length of the second floor.

The top-floor master suite has a glass-enclosed shower and a soaking tub. A lower-level en-suite designed for guests has a fireplace. The home has a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Sliding glass doors off the main level open to an outdoor dining area surrounded by stone planters and gardens. A swimming pool and spa with a waterfall feature are also within the grounds.

The house previously sold a decade ago for $1.255 million, records show. Michelle Chavoor of Partners Trust Real Estate has the listing.

Key, 44, co-wrote and starred in the Comedy Central series "Key and Peele" from 2012 to 2015 and appeared on MADtv from 2004 to 2009. He will lend his voice to the upcoming animated films "The Angry Birds Movie" and "Storks."
