Skate: All San Van Bucks Prices

The new skate. from EA is totally free-to-play. However, if you’re looking to deck your character out and throw on those flashier bundles? Let me introduce you to something called San Van Bucks (SVBs) — the premium in-game currency.

Whether you want to flex some new style or you’re thinking of delving into this game for the long haul. It’s probably best to get a grip on what these SVBs cost and how to get the best bang for your buck.

Dive into the pricing guide with me below, as I help you understand where your money is worth the most.

What Do San Van Bucks Buy You?

San Van Bucks are your golden ticket for buying all the cool outfits and gear straight up, unlocking direct cosmetic purchases.

Breaking it down, you’ve got single items like skate decks, shirts, or whatever random accessory you wanna flex. Most of these range in the 200-1000 SVBs zone.

Moving on to the bigger bundles, complete outfits or sick sets, they’re gonna cost upwards of 2,800 and fall under 5,900 SVBs. Sounds steep, sure, but you get the whole package in one scoop. Also, there’s no need to stress, because SVBs don’t offer any gameplay advantage, just pure cosmetic looks.

San Van Bucks Pricing

San van Bucks prices in Skate shop

San Van Bucks come in five different bundles. It starts from $5 for 500 SVBs and goes up to $100 for 12000. The bigger bundle you buy, the more SVBs you get. Generally, if you are planning to buy a lot of skins, go for the $100 version, as it gets you the most value for your money. Avoid the $5 pack unless you only need 500 for a cosmetic. You get much better value from the more expensive bundles.

Bundle Cost (USD)
500 $4.99
1,050 $9.99
2,800 $24.99
5,900 $49.99
12,000 $99.99

Rip Chips – The Free Alternative

Rip Chips are obtained through missions, challenges, and progression goals scattered across San Vansterdam. Unlike SVBs, they are limited to being spent on Product Boxes, which drop randomized items tied to specific neighborhoods of the city.

Product Boxes only hold a limited pool of items. So the more boxes you open, the closer you get to clearing them. However, buying specific cosmetic items directly isn’t possible with Rip Chips. You need SVBs for that.

This creates a natural economy balance, while Rip Chip’s reward the grind, San Van Bucks guarantee instant access to your favorite items.
