Skate Adds Dozens of New Songs in Season 2 Update

Skate’s Season 2 is getting a lot of love from the community. EA has listened to the fans and has fulfilled a lot of their requests. There are new tricks, skateable areas, brands, and a lot more. Not to mention, the fun 80s retro vibe that they have focused on this season. Overall, Season 2 has been a blast so far, but EA isn’t stopping. Because they just announced one more exciting thing — more music.

Skate Music Library Just Got Bigger

Songs have been a core part of the Skate franchise. “Put On” from Skate 3 is still a banger even today. But the new skate lacked that aspect. It didn’t have bangers that the old Skate games had. This was a major complaint from fans ever since the game was released. But things are now changing as the developers just announced that they are adding 90+ songs to skate with more every season.

You can either launch Skate and enjoy these songs as you perform tricks, or you can also check out their Spotify playlist that features all the songs added in Season 2. There are some pretty great songs here that have made their way into some of my playlists. NO CAP, 70 Degrees, and Disco Devil are some of my favorites.

One thing is for sure: EA cooked with the music this season. Music had been lackluster in Skate, but that’s about to change real soon. As time passes, we are bound to see more music added to Skate

It’s great to see the team behind Skate actively taking feedback from the community and working to improve the game. Skate has changed so much since its release. It has more content, feels more polished, and San Vansterdam finally looks like a city built around skating instead of the soulless mess it was before. The game is finally heading in the right direction, which is great news for fans of the franchise.

Below is a list of all of the new songs that have been added to Skate:

  • Big Boys – “Fun Fun Fun”
