Sizzling heatwave to hit Mansfield with highs of 28C predicted

Mansfield  looks set to be in for some glorious weather over the next week.

The MET Office is predicting temperatures will reach highs of 28C on Wednesday, June 24, and 27C on Thursday, June 25.

The week is due to start off sunny with forecasters predicting temperatures of 21C on Monday, June 22, and 24C on Tuesday, June 23.

The forecast  remains pretty good as we head towards the weekend, with highs of 25C predicted for Friday, June 26, despite some cloudy weather expected

The MET Office is currently predicting no rain will fall in Mansfield next Saturday, June 27, with temperatures of 21C expected on Saturday, June 27.

It comes after heavy rainfall last week brought some issues with flooding in parts of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Parts of Ilkeston, Wollaton and Beeston were among those affected.
