Size 16 woman hits out at high street clothing sizes after finding nothing that fits

A size 16 woman has hit out at fashion giants for "pretending to be inclusive" after struggling to find any clothes that fit her.

Ash opened up about her experience on TikTok, where she's known as @ashandchelslifestories, with the caption: "High street shops are king of the pretenders FYI…I’m a UK size 16/18!!! None of your clothes FIT!"

In the video, she urged high street retailers like Zara, River Island, H&M, Primark and Mango to "admit they hate fat people."

She explained: "I went shopping yesterday and do you know what I bought?

"Not a thing.

"Let me tell you for why.

"Zara, River Island, H&M, Primark, Mango - you're all p*ssing me off.

"You’re all getting on my last f*cking nerve and let me tell you for why.

"Stop pretending that you're inclusive and just with your big chests say that you hate fat girls.

"JUST SAY IT!

"I’m sick of going into Zara and picking up an XXL, an XXL, an extra extra large and it is the same size as one of my arms.

"One of my arms!

"What am I supposed to do, buy 15 black satin dresses to find one outfit?

"Sew them all together to get enough material?

"You’re getting on my nerves!

"And Fat Face…don’t even get me started on Fat Face.

Many people resonated with her message (ashandchelslifestories/Tiktok)

"How dare you call your shop Fat Face but nobody with a fat face can shop in there."

Her message clearly resonated with a lot of people as the video quickly racked up more than 180,000 likes and 4,000 comments at the time of writing.

One person said: "1000 per cent agree. It's so upsetting."

Another commented: "It's why most of my clothes are M&S... the only thing that fits me from Zara is perfume."

"I'm a 12/14 on bottoms and a size 16 jeans in Primark - wouldn't even go up past my thighs. Tesco jeans only from now on," said a third, to which someone else agreed that supermarkets are the way to go, writing: "Asda is incredible for being size-inclusive."

"LOUDER PLEASE BECAUSE THIS IS MY DAILY PROBLEM," put another user.
