Philadelphia 76ers fans spent the offseason devouring footage of All-Star point guard Ben Simmons hitting threes in pickup games, and dreaming of the day Simmons takes over the NBA as an all-around offensive dynamo.
Simmons, who did not make a single three in his first two NBA seasons, converted from long-range in the preseason, and NBA Twitter nearly melted down.
Simmons has proven he can repeatedly drill threes in pre-game warmups, but still hasn’t launched a three in a game situation.
Through 3 games, Simmons has not yet attempted a three in the regular season.
