Josh Philippe's golden summer has continued, batting the Sydney Sixers to a seven-wicket win over Perth and all but wrap up a top-two Big Bash finish.
Considered one of the best young players in the country, Philippe put on a masterclass as his 85 from 52 helped the Sixers chase down 164 with eight balls to spare.
Just three nights after smashing 64 from 33 balls against the Thunder, Philippe was almost chanceless in a more measured knock against the Scorchers.
He drove over mid-on beautifully in his third half-century of the summer, and regularly picked the gaps square on both sides of the wicket.
He was eventually bowled by Jhye Richardson after a bizarre mid run-up sidestep, but by that point the Sixers were well home.
The 23-year-old is now well clear of the competition as the the BBL's leading run-scorer with 422 at 38.36.
James Vince also struck 52 from 34, before Daniel Hughes and Daniel Christian finished the job.
The Sixers are also now clear at the top of the ladder.

Albeit with an extra game played on their rivals, the magenta men are nine points ahead of the second-placed Thunder.
They would need to lose at least two of their last three to miss out on a second chance come finals, and have the Scorchers and Thunder win all their remaining games.
Earlier, Liam Livingstone unleashed the biggest over of the BBL so far this summer as he took 27 off Steve O'Keefe before the Sixers fought back.
Livingstone smashed six sixes in his 67 from 38 balls, after he was dropped on just one by Hughes at mid-off from O'Keefe.
The Englishmen then immediately dished out the punishment in O'Keefe's next over, hitting three sixes and two more boundaries.
Jackson Bird also copped some treatment, helping the Scorchers to 1-103 after just 10 overs.
But when he holed out on the boundary from Jake Ball on the first delivery of the power surge in the 11th over, the game swung dramatically.
Ashton Turner (1) went in the same over as part of a spectacular collapse of 6-46.
The Scorchers hit just five boundaries in the final 10 overs, as Christian took 2-22 and Carlos Brathwaite 2-12.
