Six-year-old sells her rainbow drawings for £1,800 and donates it to Glasgow hospital

A six-year-old girl has used her artistic skills to raise money for patients at a Glasgow hospital.

Hallé Glass has been painting and selling rainbows to her neighbours and has managed to raise an incredible £1,830.

The youngster has donated the money to support patients at Lightburn Hospital.

Hallé and her nine year old brother Cooper presented a cheque to the staff at Lightburn as a thank you for caring for a relative at the hospital.

Hallé’s mum Samantha said: “Hallé is six-years-old and decided she had a strategy up her sleeve.

“She started making rainbows for everyone’s windows at £2 each. She decided herself that the money was to go to the NHS and raised £1,830 that we donated to The Maton Fund at Lightburn Hospital.

“I am extremely proud of her and her brother, Cooper, for presenting the cheque to staff at the hospital.”
