Six-year-old boy rushed to hospital after being hit by motorbike in Johnstone

A six-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being hit by a motorbike in Johnstone.

Police were called to the scene at Greenend Avenue on Monday evening.

The youngster was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a 'non-life threatening leg injury'.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a collision involving a boy and a motorcyclist on Greenend Avenue, Johnstone, around 5.35pm on Monday, 8 June, 2020.

"The 6-year-old boy was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a non-life threatening leg injury."
