A six-year-old boy cycled over 10 miles dressed as Father Christmas to raise money for charity. On Friday, Joshua Stack rode his bike through Maesglas Retail Park, past the Transporter Bridge, around the river front in Newport before finishing at Spytty Sports Village.
Despite the wet and windy weather, Joshua was determined to make the journey for a very worthy cause. So far, Joshua has raised over £350 for Crisis, a UK-national charity for people experiencing homelessness.
But this isn't the first time young Joshua has embarked on such a bike ride for charity. In 2020, when he had just turned four, Joshua decided to cycle 6.5 mile to Caerleon dressed as Santa. He managed to raise an impressive £750 for St David Hospice Care charity.

Joshua's quest to raise money for charity continues. On his JustGiving page, his father Peter wrote why it was so important to raise money for a homeless charity this time round.
He said: "We have seen too much of this recently and any of us could be a victim of this, a truly worthwhile cause." He added: "Thanks all for donations, Joshua really appreciates it and I do obviously."
