Six women have had 21 children each and 284 have had 10

New figures reveal there are 284 women in the country who have had 10 or more children.

The data from the Office for National Statistics also shows six women in the UK had had 21 children each, reports The Mirror.

There is one woman who has had 20 children, and four who each had 19.

The Radfords have been dubbed Britain's biggest family - having had 22 children.

Sue Radford, 45, from Morecambe and husband Noel, 50, run a bakery.

Mrs Radford gave birth to first child, son Chris, in May 1989 when she was 14 years old.

The family get through 100 pints of milk and 14 loaves of bread every week.
