A person had to be cut from a car following a crash in Bolton.
Emergency services were scrambled to Chorley New Road, near Bolton School, just after 1.30pm today (Monday December 27).
It followed reports of a collision involving two cars, between Park Road and Beverley Road.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed that firefighters freed someone from one of the cars and that five others were taken to hospital as a precaution.
A GMFRS spokesman said: “At 1:38pm on Monday 27 December 2021 two fire engines and the technical response unit from Bolton and Leigh attended a road traffic collision involving two cars on Chorley New Road, Bolton.
"Crews extricated one casualty from the vehicle using cutting gear, a hearth kit, stabilisation equipment and a long board.
"The casualty was taken to hospital.
"Five further casualties were transferred to hospital for precautionary checks.
"Crews were detained for one hour, ten minutes."
