Six registered deaths from confirmed or suspected Covid-19 last week brings total to 4,228

Six people have died from coronavirus across Scotland in the last week.

As of August 30, there have been a total of 4,228 deaths registered where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.

The weekly figures, released by the National Records for Scotland (NRS), account for all deaths where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate and are separate to the hospital deaths announced daily by the Scottish Government every day.

NRS figures also include all suspected and probable cases of the virus.
