Owning a home in Dublin is sadly nothing more than a faraway dream for many people thanks to the extortionate rents and house prices.

More and more people have started moving away from Dublin in search of cheaper homes. Aspiring homeowners have been looking to surrounding counties like Kildare, Meath, and Wicklow to settle down while commuting into the capital for work.

We had a look at some of the best three-bedroom properties that were on sale for under €300,000. These homes and apartments are located in idyllic towns making them perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Dublin city.
