ST. LOUIS _ Yadier Molina drove in three runs with a pair of doubles, and the Cardinals used six pitchers to throw a shutout at Busch Stadium in a 4-0 win over the Dodgers on Tuesday night.
Paul Goldschmidt added his sixth home run to the Cardinals' six hits, of which five went for extra bases.
The Dodgers outhit the Cards 7-6 and drew eight walks but left 13 runners on base. The teams combined to strike out 23 times.
Paul DeJong had two doubles for the Cardinals and extended his hitting streak to 10 games. He reached base four times, including two on walks, scored twice and stole a base.
Dakota Hudson pitched 4 2/3 innings in his second start but couldn't get through five to qualify for the win. That went to John Brebbia (1-0), who escaped a bases-loaded situation in the fifth and finished the sixth.
The Cardinals also used John Gant for one inning, Mike Mayers for a third of an inning, Andrew Miller for two-thirds and Dominic Leone for one.
