Six people taken to hospital after violence flares at 'house party' in Trafford

Six people were taken to hospital after violence flared at a house in Trafford.

Police were called to Church Road in Flixton at around 1.15am in the early hours of Sunday (June 30).

Officers found six people injured following what a spokeswoman described as a 'disturbance'.

Locals claim trouble erupted at house party on the busy main road.

All but one of the six people have been now been released from hospital.

None of their injuries are life-threatening, GMP said.

In a statement, the force said: "Shortly after 1.15am on Sunday, June 30, police were called to Church Road in Flixton to reports of a disturbance.

"Officers attended and six people were taken to hospital for treatment. 

"One person remains in hospital for treatment.

"None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

A man has since been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Detectives are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
