Six new hires for Leicester civil engineering design agency Farrow Walsh

A Leicester structural and civil engineering design agency, which has delivered developments for clients including Sainsbury's, General Motors, Land Rover and Eon, has bolstered its team with the announcement of six new hires.

Farrow Walsh, an owner-managed business set up in 2009, has recruited Anna Riesco, Lewis Cole, Tom Bishop, Jamie Royale, Rob Francis and Alex Pugh to its office in Leicester city centre.

The new recruits are being employed as structural engineer, assistant engineer, structural technician, civil engineering designer, structural technician and assistant engineer respectively.

The new additions boost the firm's workforce to 28 engineers and technicians across its Birmingham and Leicester offices.

Director Chris Farrow said: "They have all demonstrated a desire to be part of a growing and supportive team, and with us being near our official 10th anniversary in business, there is no better time to join us.

"Another pull for people is the range of projects and industries that our team works on - it’s huge.

"We have experience in large scale residential as well as healthcare, commercial, historic and education schemes around the country - so the opportunities for this new cohort will be varied and genuinely interesting."

Working in the Midlands and across the UK, Farrow Walsh also runs university-backed graduate and undergraduate internship schemes to develop the next generation of engineers as they embark upon their careers in construction.
