A futher 2,363 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland with the disease claiming another six lives.
Figures published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland today show 346 people are currently being treated for the virus in the nation's hospitals – an increase of eight from yesterday.
There are 32 people with the illness being treated in ICUs across the nation which is an increase of two over the last 24 hours.
The six deaths mean Scotland's death toll from the virus now stands at 7,735.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Dundee City has the highest rate in the country — at 914.1 as of Monday, July 5.
Midlothian has the second-highest infection rate at 761.4 while East Lothian is third with 607.9.

Of Ayrshire's three local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 430.3 compared to North Ayrshire's rate of 267.9 and South Ayrshire's 262.9 as it emerged that the health board region was one of the top 10 Covid hotspots in Europe.
Ayrshire accounted for 90 of the nation's new cases with 38 reported in North Ayrshire, 30 in East Ayrshire and 22 in South Ayrshire.

There are 14 Covid patients in Ayrshire hospitals – down two from yesterday – while fewer than five people are battling the disease in intensive care in the region.
A total of 3,879,458 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 2,791,071 have received their second dose.
