Six Nations superstar Antoine Dupont tests positive for coronavirus

France's Six Nations superstar Antoine Dupont has tested positive for coronavirus.

The scrum-half, seen by many as the best rugby player in the world right now, is the fourth member of the French camp to have the illness.

It follows confirmation earlier this week that French head coach Fabien Galthie had tested positive, as well as assistant William Servat and another member of the backroom team.

The entire French squad was sent home and into isolation before undergoing tests earlier on Friday.

So far, 12 results have been returned, the French Rugby Federation confirmed, with Dupont the only positive case.

He is said to be asymptomatic and will undergo a period of self-isolation.

France are due to play Scotland in Paris in the third round of Six Nations fixtures next weekend.
