Six Nations 2023 fixtures: TV channel and kick-off times for every match

England start life under new head coach Steve Borthwick this weekend with the Six Nations getting underway in what is a huge year for rugby union.

Borthwick, who was appointed alongside rugby league legend Kevin Sinfield as defence coach, faces some key early decisions in his tenure, with Owen Farrell serving a suspension for a dangerous tackle prior to the tournament. However, the Saracens fly-half, who has also been named captain once again, is set to be available for England's opening fixture, the Calcutta Cup clash against Scotland.

Scotland won the last two editions of the historic fixture and England will hope to avenge those defeats with their opening match of the campaign at Twickenham on February 4. They then face Italy in another home fixture before tough assignments against Wales away before hosting France and then a crucial final fixture against Ireland in Dublin on March 18.

The Six Nations will see two teams with new head coaches, with Wales having brought back Warren Gatland in addition to Borthwick's England appointment. Then, in the autumn the Rugby World Cup takes place in France with the hosts currently favourites and Ireland ranked number one in the world.

This means that the Six Nations will be even more important than ever as some of the world of rugby's top sides prepare for what will be a huge autumn. Last November saw Ireland and France both beating world Champions South Africa, with Italy also recording their first ever win against Australia.

This shows the current strength of European rugby and the Six Nations is the definitive showpiece event, dubbed 'Rugby's Greatest Championship'. With the stakes higher than ever before, you will not want to miss any of the action, and here is the full set of fixtures.
