England sent out another significant statement and maintained their 100% start to the Six Nations as they demolished France 44-8 on Sunday.
After stunning defending champions Ireland in Dublin on opening weekend, Eddie Jones' side ran rampant at Twickenham, scoring six tries to secure their highest margin of victory over Les Bleus since 1911.
Jonny May was the main beneficiary of an excellent kicking game as he notched a hat-trick inside 30 minutes, while Henry Slade and Owen Farrell scored after the break before Nigel Owens awarded a penalty try after Chris Ashton was brought down by Gael Fickou.
Such an emphatic triumph saw England top the Six Nations standings ahead of a mouth-watering showdown against Wales in Cardiff on February 23 - a match that could go a long way towards deciding the title.
