Six Nations 2019: England vs Scotland score prediction, line-ups, odds, live stream, TV, h2h

England vs Scotland
Six Nations 2019
Venue: Twickenham
Kick-off: 5pm GMT, Saturday, March 16

England and Scotland do battle in the Calcutta Cup in the final match of the 2019 Six Nations on Saturday.

By the time kick off rolls around at Twickenham, England will already know whether they still have a chance to win the title – which could be decided two hours earlier in Cardiff.

Wales, having already secured victories over France, Italy and England, can wrap up their first Grand Slam since 2012 if they beat last year’s champions Ireland.

But if Wales are defeated on home soil or the match is drawn, then a victory over an injury-hit Scotland would be enough for England to triumph.

Team news and line-ups

Joe Cokanasiga, who was man of the match on his full Six Nations debut last weekend, has been dropped by Eddie Jones for England’s final match of the Championship.

The fit-again Jack Nowell replaces Cokanasiga – who England confirmed is not injured – as one of four changes to the starting XV.

Henry Slade and Mark Wilson are also recalled, while Ben Moon comes back in for Ellis Genge on the loosehead. Slade returns for Ben Te’o, meaning Manu Tuilagi – fresh from signing a new deal with Leicester that means he is available for England for two more years – moves back to the No12 jersey.

The return of Wilson, a revelation since the start of the Autumn Internationals, is the only change up front. He comes in at blindside for Brad Shields, who had his best game for England against Italy, scoring two tries.

Gregor Townsend meanwhile has handed recalls to full-back Sean Maitland and back-row pair Hamish Watson and Sam Skinner for Scotland's trip to Twickenham on Saturday.

The Dark Blues coach has announced six changes to the team that lost to Wales last weekend, with wing Byron McGuigan, centre Sam Johnson and lock Ben Toolis also brought in to face Championship-chasing England.

Dropping out are the injured trio of Tommy Seymour, Blair Kinghorn and Jamie Ritchie plus Peter Horne, while Josh Strauss and Jonny Gray move to the bench.

England team to face Scotland: 15 Elliot Daly, 14 Jack Nowell, 13 Henry Slade, 12 Manu Tuilagi, 11 Jonny May, 10 Owen Farrell, 9 Ben Youngs, 1 Ben Moon, 2 Jamie George,3 Kyle Sinckler, 4 Joe Launchbury, 5 George Kruis, 6 Mark Wilson, 7 Tom Curry, 8 Billy Vunipola

Replacements: 16 Luke Cowan-Dickie, 17 Ellis Genge, 18 Dan Cole, 19 Brad Shields, 20 Nathan Hughes, 21 Ben Spencer, 22 George Ford, 23 Ben Teo

Score prediction: England 42-18 Scotland

A heavily depleted squad will surely hold the Scots back and regardless of whether England are still in contention by the time kick-off rolls around, they will certainly be playing for pride.
