Six locations where KFC wants to open new restaurants in Merseyside

Fast food giant KFC has revealed it wants to open six new restaurants and drive-thrus in Merseyside.

Among the locations are Kirkby, Formby and Crosby, as well as a new outlet in Liverpool city centre, which would join a number of KFC restaurants in the area.

While the chain already has around 900 venues in the UK already, the list of 'target locations' could mean several more sites closer to home for the people of Merseyside should they go ahead.

KFC closed all of its UK sites in March due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and Merseyside restaurants were among the last to reopen their doors after a staggered reintroduction began in April.

Now that restaurants are open again, with several new measures in place in order to adhere to Government guidelines, there are six locations KFC is looking into in Merseyside.
