Six jobs you can apply for in Merseyside this week

If you're feeling bored with your current job - or you're looking for work - there could be a new job waiting for you.

From working at Anfield to driving across Merseyside, there a huge range of jobs available this week.

We've rounded up some of the jobs on offer in Liverpool and the wider region.

Here are the roles you can apply for this week.

Mini bus drivers across Merseyside

There are jobs available as a mini bus driver in Merseyside (scu)

If you're a driver and like working with children, a job with Liverpool Community Transport could be a good option.

The job is only part time, and would involve driving children with complex needs to their schools across the Liverpool area.

Given you'd be working with children you would be subject to a DBS check.

Teaching at the Royal School for the Blind

There are teaching jobs available in Liverpool as well (Andrew James)

The Royal School for the Blind, in Wavertree, is looking for full time, permanent staff.

The salary is dependent on your experience, and  the school is looking for either a qualified teacher or and aspiring teacher who would work towards qualifying.

You would need to be 'firm but compassionate', and experience working with children with multiple disabilities is desirable.

The job doesn't start until September - but the school is taking applications until the end of this week, with shortlisting and interviews later in the month.

Catering and Hospitality jobs at Anfield

Anfield Stadium (Liverpool Echo)

Liverpool's season finished with success in the Champions League final last week.

But the club are still looking for events staff for the coming year.

Anyone who's interested in bagging one of the roles is invited to drop in to one of the sessions and speak to Liverpool's recruitment team.

The jobs advertised include baristas and chefs.

The last drop-in session to find out more about the job is this Wednesday between 3pm and 6pm at Anfield.

Medical Receptionist at a GP Surgery

(PA)

This opportunity would be particularly good for people living in south Liverpool.

The Ash Surgery in Aigburth is looking for a medical receptionist and admin clerk.

Although experience is preferred because of the busy nature of the role, they do provide training.

And there is the potential to do the job either full or part time.

If you're looking for work in construction, this job at Heron Constructive Solutions could be for you.

The company is looking for someone to work full time doing paving and drainage installation.

This would be great for someone wanting to start soon as they want someone immediately.

Part-time screening nurse

This job would be perfect if you don't want a full working week.

OH Medical is looking for a screening nurse to work three days a week, with flexibility over what those days are.

Nurses would be expected to work within audiometry, spirometry, pre placement screening and health surveillance.
