Six people, including five young children, have died after a shooting in Oklahoma in the United States.
Officers were called to reports of multiple people shot at a home in Muskogee, around 45 miles from Tulsa, at around 1.30am this morning (February 2).
One man and four children were found dead at the scene, while a fifth child died at hospital.
Police say a suspect has been taken into custody.
Muskogee Police Officer Lynn Hamlin described the five young victims as “small children” but said police do not have exact ages yet.
No other suspects are believed to be involved, she said.
“We don’t believe that it’s random but we just don’t have details yet of the why or what happened,” Ms Hamlin added.
A woman was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, she said.
