But there are still a great number of players who could exit the club for a domestic transfer.
With the transfer window extended until October as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, a new domestic-only window was opened this season.
And Frank Lampard has a huge squad that could be trimmed down before the next deadline of 5pm on Friday.

Danny Drinkwater
Chelsea would be lucky to get even a fraction of the money they paid Leicester City for Drinkwater.
Last season saw him endure two disappointing loan spells at Burnley and Aston Villa, and it’s unlikely there will be many clubs desperate for his services this summer.
The Blues may be forced to pay up his contract, at which point he can begin exploring his options.
Fikayo Tomori
Reports on deadline day indicated Tomori had turned down a loan move to West Ham United, but it’s unlikely he’ll earn much playing time at Chelsea right now.
Tomori is one for the future and regular playing time will help him iron out those rough edges. The 22-year-old already has Championship experience with Derby County and Hull City, and a temporary move back there would be best for all parties.
Jake Clarke-Salter
The England youth international returned to Chelsea in the summer after a solid season on loan at Birmingham City. There was talk earlier in the window that Trabzonspor and Club Brugge were interested, but neither deal materialised.
At 23 it may be time for him to consider his future, with the chances of him breaking into the Chelsea first team looking slim.
Dujon Sterling
The talented right-back may look at Tariq Lamptey and see why leaving Chelsea permanently need not necessarily be a bad thing for those who can’t break into the first team.
In reality, a loan move within the Football League seems like a good next step to continue his development. He got a taste of Championship football last season with Wigan Athletic, and a return to the second tier would be a further test of the youngster’s ability.
Baba Rahman
The Ghanian has spent five years in London but has had four loan deals away from the club in that time.
He is behind Emerson, Marcos Alonso and Ben Chilwell in the Chelsea pecking order, and that means a deal out of the club looks best for everyone.
Whether that’s a loan move or a permanent transfer is unclear, but it’s hard to imagine he has a long-term future at Stamford Bridge, making a transfer the best option.
Charly Musonda
A tricky winger who excited everyone during his early days at the club, it’s not unfair to say that he has lost his way somewhat.
Musonda will be keen to play football, and that could mean a loan move in the EFL.
